WHAT WE DO

We improve the lives of older adults and the systems that support them by conducting research, convening stakeholders, sharing information, shifting attitudes, and advancing policies and practices.

  1. We conduct research to generate and identify the best available evidence to improve ageing-related policies, practices and attitudes.

  2. We convene stakeholders to better understand and develop solutions, and drive consensus and collective action.

  3. We share information to enable older adults, and those who support them, to make sound decisions and to support decision-makers to improve existing policies and practices.

  4. We shift attitudes and break down barriers and inequities that stand in the way of ageing well.

  5. We advance policy solutions and practice innovations that address the unique challenges and opportunities for older adults and Canada’s ageing population.
